How to Void Or Refund A Transaction In QuickBooks
Refund or Void a Credit Card SaleRead step-by-step instructionsClick Transactions.Open a sales receipt.Click More at the bottom of the screen, then click Void.When asked if you want to void the sales receipt, click Yes.Click OK on the message box.When you need to refund an amount to your customer’s credit card, or cancel a sale after 3pm on the day of the sale, record it in QuickBooks as a refund receipt. On the Plus Sign Menu, click Refund Receipt.
