Use the QuickBooks Layout Designer to create customized invoices, sales receipts, estimates, credit memos, statements, and purchase orders that help present a more professional and polished look for your business.

1. Open a transaction ( PO, Estimates, Invoice, Sales receipt).
2. Click the Current Template dropdown and select Edit Current Template.
3. The Layout Designer window opens.
4. Use the icons in the Icon bar to customize the template.
5. Once satisfied, close the Layout Designer.
6. A message: “Do want to save the Changes made to the document “Standard Product Invoice?” appears. Click Save.
7. Enter a different template name to easily identify the template.(We cannot override the default templates from QuickBooks)
