- Internet connection (LAN) terminal. This needs on-line internet connection. Acceptance of payments is faster than with a dial-up terminal; accordingly this solution suits more for those companies, who consider the speed of card transactions important. A LAN-terminal fits the retail merchants as well as trade centres.
- GSM, mains-powered terminal. Suits well for a point-of-sale with mobile network, however with no fixed line or on-line internet connection or with no possibility of using them. This solution suits also if it is not necessary to constantly move around the point-of-sale with the terminal.
- GSM, battery-powered terminal. Is suitable for street trade and outdoor events, with no possibility of using a phone line or internet connection and where mobility of the terminal is essential. The batteries of the terminal must be charged ca once a day, depending on the number of transactions and frequency of use. In cool winter conditions, the batteries must be charged more often.
- Bluetooth-terminal. Suitable for restaurants and bars, where card payments have to be accepted at a distance from the cash register. The kit contains a base station – charging stand, operating through both, a phone line as well as on-line internet connection. The terminal and its stand are connected with Bluetooth technology. The terminal can be easily removed from the stand and used for accepting card payments within the range of 200 m from the stand of the terminal.
- Cash register system is suitable, if your company values transaction speed and the complete sales programme with additional functions. You can obtain a suitable cash register system from suppliers certified by Nets Estonia. To use a cash register system, you have to conclude a merchant agreement with SEB.
