The Vx570 is fast and built for reliable, quick transactions. This model from VeriFone is also highly adaptable and offers multiple options for connectivity. The Vx570 plugs straight into a standard phone or internet connection line. The large display and ATM style interface enable easy processing whilst the triple-track card reader accepts many magnetic cards including credit, debit, gift cards, mini-cards and driving licenses.
This model has a thermal printer and with easy to read reports, produces 18 lines per second (taking the standard 2.25 inch printing rolls).
Security is a high specification on the Vx570 with Verishield file authentication, PCI PED and EMV level 1 and 2 being present.
The terminal is driven by an RISC 200 MHz ARM9 32-bit processor and incorporates 6MB of memory. It also has many ports - 1 USB, 1 telco and 1 Ethernet. The 2 RS-232 ports enable peripherals to be added including check readers and PIN pads.
